GP Karting is one of the largest centrally heated Indoor Karting Centres in the Country. Since opening its doors over 12 years ago, it has established itself as a market leader in corporate hospitality, offering a standard of professionalism and cleanliness to ensure visitors will not be disappointed.
With average lap times of around 30 seconds, sweeping bends and tight hairpins, our 385 metre track (including an 85 metre straight), will provide even the most experienced racer with a challenge. Our computerised timing system and track-side monitors keep everyone informed.
We can arrange everything from a timed practice session for 1 to 10 people or a corporate event for up to 80 people. We can tailor your event to your specific requirements. Whether you are looking for an individual champion in a Grand Prix format, or would rather hold an Endurance Event to aid team building - GP Karting will provide a unique experience. You can even try Mini Motos!!
Events For Larger Groups - choose between a Grand Prix or Team Endurance format.
Grand Prix - Find the fastest driver in the group. Drivers enjoy a 5 minute practice session. Then compete in 5 heats with the top 24 drivers going through to the next round. The top 8 drivers contest the Grand Final with trophies awarded to the top 3 drivers and fastest lap trophy.
Team Endurance - This is ideal to develop team spirit and team building. Drivers are divided into teams. All drivers have a practice session and after qualifying - it's race time. The duration of the race will be pre-determined and the winning team will be the one who completes the most laps within the set time limit.
Events for Smaller Groups - The Sprint Race format caters for a maximum of 10 drivers wanting an exclusive event. The 5 minute practice and qualifying session is followed by 2 races totalling either 80 or 60 laps. The drivers with the most points win the trophies.
Stag and Hen Parties - Whether it is a karting event or complete package including Town Centre Hotel room with evening meal and breakfast, we will be happy to organise this for you.
Arrive & Drive - Ideal for drivers who wish to try karting for the first time or simply improve their skills on the race track. Computer lap times provided to monitor your progress.
Children can also join in the fun, subject to a minimum age of 8 and minimum height requirements. They can enjoy Arrive & Drive or an exclusive Birthday Party Package.
Mini Moto events and practice are also available at GP Karting.
Our conference rooms, with full catering, are available for that all important meeting or product launch. The Monaco suite will accommodate up to 12 delegates, whilst our Le Mans suite will accommodate up to 80 delegates.

GP Karting is located on the St James Mill Industrial Estate, approximately 5 minutes from J15A or J16 of the M1 motorway.
Private off road parking is available for in excess of 60 cars.
